eep! my birthday is this week! here is my swanky amazon wishlist for those who have asked.most of the books are on the last page since i just now was browsing the non-book departments. stuff stuff stuff! i love online-window-shopping in my pajamas!
i am starting to go through all my stuff here in our multi-purpose room slash office. our new furniture from ikea will arrive in 2 or three weeks. i need to get rid of things i don’t use and simplify what i do. i am starting to put up ebay auctions for some things. others will be added to the pile of about 10 garbage bags already slated for donation (unless friends want to come pick through it first). here is a link to my auctions so far. a lot of yarn right now since i am getting rid of a lot of leftovers from the past few years.
here are some of the ikea furniture collections we chose from. everything will be in a birch finish. that desk is my main desk and i’ll have a matching rectangular table for sewing and art. we are getting 3 bookcase – two smaller ones that will be on top of a drawer unit, and a tall one with a side piece (like the first three columns in the picture, minus the doors). danny will be installing a light in the hole we’ve had in our ceiling since 2001. yey for replacing our broken 5-year-old furniture!!
danny has to work on both of my days off this week. that stinks. especially after the super long hours i’ve been working. who wants to come entertain me. we are both working on my birthday (me during the day and him during the night, so who knows if i’ll even see him. but birthdays aren’t supposed to mean as much as you get older anyway, right?
i don’t know what my work schedule is for next week yet except that i work tomorrow. anyone want to entertain me?
