so the past two days would be good examples of why i don’t have time for anything but work or sleep… yesterday i was scheduled for the 6:45am – 2pm shift. i always get there a bit early to help get the dogs up. i planned to deposit my paycheck from last week on the way home since our bank was closed on monday (for independence day observed). but at the end of my shift they asked if anyone could stay late to take care of all the new boutique merchandise. i volunteered since i nearly always stay late if asked and everyone else seems to disappear in a cloud of dust when their shift ended (despite complaints that the morning shift is now an hour and a half shorter). so i was there till sometime between 5pm – 6pm. i planned to go to the bank the next day. so today, a couple hours before my shift ended they started asking if i could work a double – even said i could run out to the bank if i wanted to. that would have been more trouble than it was worth. we’ll survive another day or two just fine. but, i agreed to stay on, and they kindly changed the afternoon schedule so i could work up front for my last 5 hours. so today’s hours ended up being 6:30am – 7:45pm. hello overtime. so if you’d like to give me some free time to actually update things, you should come work with me so i don’t have to cover shifts as often. we are understaffed right now and interviewing like crazy. and you get free puppy kisses!

so i had been planning on going through more photoshoot images and posting the next group to the gallery tonight, but that kinda got postponed. as well as starting to rebraid my hair. danny has to work on my days off this week, so i guess i’ll have time to get started on those things. i need to at least look through them all so i can give approval for some to be on azcra’s website (see previous posts for details – i am to lazy tired right now).
danny wanted a big meaty sammich from arby’s tonight after i had made it home from work and showered. i asked for one of thair fancy salads minus the chicken but it wasn’t possible – pre-made or something. so i asked what that had for vegetarians. the girl said i could get one of their sammiches without the meat. i was like ‘um, what would be left on it?’… apparently it would be about a lettuce and mayonnaise sandwich. mm. gross. i got a side salad and curly fries. curly fries are my friend.
i’ve just managed to write a whole lot of nothing.
