got a site coded today – well, the homepage and templates for the rest. the interns will put in the content stuff. i’ve got another to code and a site to design still. after i finished we took the girls on a walk. it was 68° F and getting breezy.
after dark we went to the grocery store. we didn’t want to spend the money, but we do need to eat and finally wash our dishes… and that requires food and dish soap. danny does most of the picking-out at the store because a cook i am not. so i amuse myself by taking low-res pictures with my mp3 player.
we managed to earn 5% off all our groceries cause we made it to a certain number of points on our grocery card. i also used a number of coupons and card sale prices, woo.
it started raining after we got the groceries in the car, and was thundering when we got home. apparently it is going to feel like winter tonight. or something.
danny is in the kitchen cooking dinner from scratch. why do we say ‘from scratch’? sounds like, he scratches his balls and food appears, hee.

As long as you don’t look at it while eating, it tastes just the same. I want ’em to come out with black mustard. Why? Dunno, just think it’d be neat in a disconcerting way!

Scary.. LifeSavers are the same price there as they are here, but out dollar is worth like US 50c, so we pay half as much 😀

I think your math is a little off.
One australian dollar is worth 50 american cents
therefore, 50 american cents is worth one australian dollar
therefore, a pack of lifesavers in the US, at 50 cents each, is the equivalent of one australian dollar
however, in australia, lifesavers are only 50 australian cents, or 25 american cents.
meaning americans pay twice as much for lifesavers as we do..

Several totally unrelated things
1.) The picture of the wine bottles is way cool
2.) Purple ketchup (while it is my favorite color), DOES NOT, taste the same.
3.) I have a request/proposition/question for you… I saw Jade’s braids in person and they were SWANKAY… I want some and was wondering if meybe I could convince you that with a chaperone (moose, dawn, the entire posse)since I am craaazy and realize that it may be akward for us to have to sit around together for 6 hours, that I would love to have braids and would be more than happy to hook you up with $$$

3. sure. if you can get the hair (dark shades are easy to find in stores but i don’t know the price – i get mine for $2 a bag online) and we have a co-braider there that i can hand braids off to once they are started. i am not the fastest braider, and jade and i found out it works much better that way.

i meant someone to help me braid. it would be a lot faster if i start each braid to get the fake hair in and braid to the end of your real hair, then pass it on to someone to finish.
that is where i buy me jumbo braid – great prices but she can take a while to ship.
the site says 10-12 bags but i’ve only ever used about 4 bags for a full head of braids. i always order about 8 bags at a time and they last me 2-3 months of rebraiding slowly. it depends on how many braids you want and how thick you want them.
