stephanie is: working working…

hello hello. last night i got 120 pictures added to the members’ january 2002 webcampics gallery. then i tackled the last of my tanning salon designs. i finally came up with two that didn’t look like ass – and it seems the client loved them so i’m glad. the font they chose makes me think of tacos.

once i take care of a bit more work and feed myself, i think i will do more braids (i did 10-15 yesterday) and shower. for now i am very cozy in jammies (huge covenant shirt from the europa tour and black jammie pants). mm warm.

then perhaps later i will copy more of my livejournal into my sql database. i’ve finished through september 2000 (july2000 for comments since you can’t export them, poo). as soon as i finish copying it all over i will switch to useing php scripts for my thoughts (i originally used my own scripts before i signed up for lj). i will post duplicates on lj for those of you who only read me on your friend lists. but comments will go to my site. i really don’t like relying on someone else’s servers for important site content. especially when thay are so over-taxed.

jade comes tonight! jade comes tonight! watch the cams cause we’ll prolly be braiding on them.

danny is in maryland on a contract job today. the doggies are guarding me.

now go drop everything and vote in my new home page poll! what are you waiting for?!

  1. If you can’t automatically export comments, how are you dealing with them? I hope it isn’t cut-and-paste, because that’s painful.

Hmm, LJ is open-source … would running one’s own LJ server qualify as massive overkill? šŸ˜‰

    • yea – cut and paste.. bleh! that is why i’ve only gone up to july for comments. it is a huge pain in the ass, but i’d like to save most of them.
