stephanie is: tired tired…

we didn’t make it through all our errands this evening so round two tomorrow will be the bank, the p.o. box, and a drug store. we did go and vote today. oh and my painting is now at the price i just spent on a mountain of kitty litter so it is paying for the cats to poop for the next month. lovely, eh?

when danny went to the computer store i went next door to the craft store for a frame for the cross stitch i have almost finished for my gramma-in-law. 40% off, woo!

  1. Glad you posted it, as you probably figured. One thing tho… You need to start things like that for at least the cost of materials. Even though you said it was a practice one you still had to buy the canvas and paint.

  2. you know.. you probably could’ve started that at a much higher price.. the model in my figure drawing class tonite said my drawing could go for $100-$150.. (of course, in my head i’m wondering who would ever buy it when it was just a 45 min. charcoal drawing..nothing fancy)..
most artists can charge a lot b/c they have skills and talent.. i don’t know..i’d probably do the same as you though.. it would just seem wrong to charge a lot for something when you enjoyed making it and everything..
i dunno.. good luck tho..it seems it’ll get up there in price šŸ™‚
