If you are having trouble sleeping, you should try taking melatonin before going to bed. It’s an antioxidant that is naturally produced in the brain. Changes in light induce the production of it, so if you sleep with a nightlight on or get up often to go to the bathroom and turn the light on, this can hinder its natural production. The production of melatonin also starts going down right before you hit puberty. As you age it keeps diminishing.
I started taking melatonin, about 3mg each night, about a week ago. It is wonderful, it is completely natural and is supposed to help you create a more normal sleeping pattern. It is also noted for helping out with PMS, bonus! 🙂 I don’t know if I’m going overboard on the advice here, but I also started using projesterone cream a few months ago. A lot of women go on birth control to lessen the painful effects of PMS. This wasn’t an option for me. Projesterone cream is something that is not prescribed by a doctor because it is a natural substance and it cannot be patented (so there’s really no money to gain from telling people to go buy projesterone cream). You can buy it in any nutrition center. Im serious when I tell you that my cramps have been entirely NON EXISTANT since I started using the stuff. You start using it 2 weeks before your period is supposed to start, and rub about 1/2 tsp twice daily into certain spots on your body. It kind of set off my cycle the first few months, but when they come, they have been painless. I started using it actually because of stress related problems and problems with panic attacks and anxiety, and it has helped a lot. More women than men experience anxiety problems, and a LOT of it has to do with a simple hormonal imbalance. Women are more prone to it because their hormones are more on flux to accomodate for PMS. If you experience any pain during menstruation it has everything to do with a hormonal imbalance, USUALLY a lack of projesterone, (it can also be due to excessive amounts of estrogen). So if you still get cramps, rub a little of the stuff on and they should go away. For about 4 oz. of the stuff, it costs about $30. It is entirely worth it though. I buy the stuff from Source Naturals, and it’s just called Natural Projesterone Cream.
Wow I might have worn out my welcome here. hehe.
I also was writing to tell you that I like the bracelets you make. They are beautiful!
