stephanie is: tired tired…

my lame night of sleep is catching up to me. tired! i went to the bank. i asked them why they close at 2pm. they didn’t know. um yea. i ate part of a sandwich but it tasted funny so i stopped.

question – anyone know where a silly white girl can get braids/extentions/whatnot in the dc nova area? i’d like to think of something cute to do with my hair for a while cause there is now a 6″ chunck missing fron the back where the puppy attacked my head in bed about a month ago. either a salon or an idividual would be good. anyone?

work or nap? hmm…

  1. get rainbow braids..*snickers*

hairpolice.com does all that fun stuff..i was thinking they are in dc but now i think it might be new york..

i wanted extensions eons ago when i had short hair but i did not have $500 to spare =) i wanted white and pink braids

      • if you do your entire head in braids, depending on how thick you want them,it will be around 300-500 i was told when i asked around some salons..

although if you just want one piece of hair to even up the chunk missing in the back, it shouldn’t be that much..

        • hm, i wrote to them and they seem great since they can do braids in fine hair without damage. and they were very kind and speedy getting back to me.

i would have to get to nyc on the 9th and magically pull at least $300 out of my butt… so that can’t happen šŸ™

danny says i can get them if they are free, heh. we just don’t have that kind of money right now. i guess i will stick to ponytails for a few months and then hack my hair off short to even it out.

          sigh.

          • hmm..

maybe for now you can at least get an extension to get your hair one length? and if you want, braid it all yourself?

or it might be cheaper ( if you are good with hair and have patience/time ) to buy the hair pieces and put them in yourself? i almost did that but i’d prolly get halfway through and then get bored and give up. ^-^

that is all i can think of..or buy a wig =)

          • it is in the back – i’d never be able to do it. and it isn’t underneath or anything, so i wouldn’t know how to blend it in.

i think i am stuck with dealing with it.

  2. Aahh, you are going to look adorable in a bunch of braids. If that’s what you get. Even really long hair extensions would look really pretty.

  3. go into a black beauty supply store and ask the people who work there who does hair. i found a great stylist this way. i’ve had lots of braids and extensions and her prices are great. usually around $150.
