In my true computer geek, money is no object, I can eat just PB&J for months if needed way, I must suggest you get a wireless network card and go work outside.
I use a proxim symphony card on my laptop, so I can sit anywhere in the apartment while I work. (Bad part is it does get hard to get sympathy for working hard when the girlfriend catches you working in a bubble bath, but we won’t go there ;o)
I know money’s tight, as a work from home animal welfare poor boy, I understand, but hey its technology. Isn’t it a law that you must buy new technology? (if not don’t tell my girlfreind, I think I almost have her convinced).. You can just keep telling yourself that you are saving so much on gas and tolls working from home, that you can have it…

i actually have the farallon card and an airport, but i can’t see my screen outside on sunny days…
