I don’t know why that made me giggle, but probably because they grow wild here and I have been cursing them for years now pulling them out of the soil. They get thick and are almost impossible to get rid of. Only the white ones grow wild here however. I once lived in a house that some started to grow up a pipe and it grew up in to a crack of the house and in to the bathroom.
