stephanie is: grrr grrr…

grr grr! i have been wearing contacts for a few days now because i am sick of my glasses frames ripping the hair short around my face. i have had hair in my eyessince a whille after i got them. i was wearing the glasses in bed last night and when i took the off to sleep “RIPPP” – it ripped off another chunk of hair that caught. ow. i noticed that side is even shorter this morning. i’ll never be able to grow them out. i had been hoping it would grow out by my wedding when i first noticed it last year and trimmed off the dammage. my wedding was in march. they are even shorter now.

i just put contacts back in and bobbypinned my dumb hair back.

i guess i need to use the credit card for glasses. lenscrafters sent me a $25 gift certificate for my birthday (the first card i got actually) and it says it -can- be used with coupons. who wants to go with me?

bah! grr grr grumph! *stomp*stomp*pout*

      • You have to be a member of the club, which I think costs $30 for a year.

I paid $100 for my last pair at Sams, and would have been $200-225 at Lens Crafters.

They will usually let you have a trial membership for a week or something for free. I dunno, since you’re not a Sam’s member, LensCrafters with the coupon might be a better option for you.

  1. eyewear….

The last time I needed new eyewear. I went to Hour Eyes. The total cost for my new glasses including the eye exam, $250.00 frames, and protective lenses was $65.00.

The reason why it was so cheap is because I recently purchased eyewear insurance.. Whenever I use this insurance it cuts the cost off all my eyewear by 85%.

The insurance is: Spectra Vision, Inc.

If you use this insurance plus, the store certificate for $25.00 off.. You will be getting your new eye wear for almost nothing…

(The hair in the frames problem.) I had the same problem when it comes to wear sunglasses my hair always got stuck whenever I wore metal frames.. I would recommend some neat plastic artsy frames.. :>) Plastic frames are wonderful.. You never have to worry or deal with getting your hair stuck in the frames.
