thanks to everyone who has been giving me suggestions for my sick laptop. it still won’t boot. i am at a loss. it boots from cd which seems to say it is the software… but it won’t boot from a clean install which seems to say it is the hardware. BAH!
i have work to do today. i can’t waste my whole day messing wth it again.
if it won’t boot from a clean install, then i’d reformat then drive, then install the os. if that still doesn’t work, it could be the drive itself.
If THAT doesn’t work…hurl it at Bill Gates’s head from your car while going 90mph.
actually, steve jobs would be more appropriate, since it’s a mac…
