  1. perfect timing!

I’ve been meaning to ask you this for so long: where did you buy those “stuff drawers” and did you paint the designs on them yourself? I so need them.

hah, i got some little shelvy things like that at ikea this weekend, but i’m leaving them unpainted. i also got one of those cheapo 20 dollar rugs. mine has a little house on it. it’s like a fake rug though, feels like it is made out of industrial waste. 🙂 my cat assumes it’s another scratching device.

i got an extra video card of my mac that lets me run a second monitor – either mac or pc… so i use peecee monitors for the second one cause they are cheaper and i can set them to look more peecee-like when i am testing colors…

Macs are designed to support multiple monitor setups… PCs can to, either with a multi-head video card (like a Matrox G450) or with multiple video cards… however, that usually requires 3rd party software, unless you are running windows 2000, then the capability is built in.

I’m pretty sure that Windows 98 onwards supports multiple monitors. Word of warning though, adding another monitor to my system stuffed up my existing one, its got lines running through it now 🙁

Windows 98 does in fact support multiple monitors, but it is a little screwy. A Matrox dual-head setup works a bit better than running two different video cards from two different vendors.
