stephanie is: worried worried…

where is danny? it has been two hours since he left for work… i know traffic is bad today, but…

<RANT>
arggh. i am sick of seeing nothing but “i hate lj – it’s not connecting! brad sucks! lj sucks!” all over my friends list. sweet jebus! do you people understand how huge this thing has grown? it takes a lot of work to keep expanding servers to carry such a heavy load of traffic. read this and have a little fucking patience. yes, it is annoying and lame that connections to lj are being dropped left and right, but bitching is not going to help – they already know. aahhrrg, whatever.

</RANT>

ughhh, where is danny??

  1. bitching

    FWIW
    If they think they can do a better job then Brad and the boys handling the popularity and growth of a system like this then by all means, spend your money, your time, and pour your heart into a project and prove you can do it better.

    Otherwise, shut the hell up and be patient.

    (Or if they can’t be patient maybe they should all sign up for AO-HELL and join a “community”)

  2. ummm…

    i will whine in my journal that livejournal isn’t connecting for me. i will also tell it what i’m wearing, what i had to eat, and who i slept with last night. i will also whine about work, my husband and the cats.

    but then…i rarely make “i hate lj” posts. i make “please stop smoking crack when i’m trying to read lj, please, oh dear livejournal!”

    honestly…i spent the money to help make this work, and um, it’s still not. what did my money go to? šŸ˜‰

    and…uh…i had to refresh the link u sent me to 4 times before it would come up. i keep getting “server not found” messages, when it found the server a good minute and a half ago. šŸ˜‰

    heeheehee…

    good morning, stephunny!

    *giggle*

    ~Kissy…not really upset about anything…

  3. I hear you…

    And of all those LJ people out there who are bitching I’d guess that over half of them don’t even have paid accounts. I see so many people accepting a free service and then complaining about how it’s run. It’s kind of irritating…

  4. I don’t know where he has to go to get to work but I understand that the beltway was a real mess this morning. He was probably sitting in traffic

  5. ack! thank you!!! this is what i have been thinking for a while now!! i’m glad that i am not the only one who feels this way.

    yes, people can bitch and moan as they please in their own journals, but i agree – i am sick and tired of this constant complaining about livejournal. i mean, i cannot even begin to imagine how much e-mail brad and the team have to go through each and everyday. on top of that, livejournal has grown so much and the team is not only trying to manage it all, but they are also full-time college students, too. also, we are not the only ones who get annoyed when livejournal doesn’t work – brad and company get pissed, too, if not more!

    technology is not perfect, and nothing is always sure-fire and consistent, no matter how much you pay for a membership. things break or slow down – that’s life in cyberspace. i think if livejournal is pissing people off this much, then it might be wise for them to step away from the computer for a day and find something else to do. the word “obsessed” comes to my mind. heh

    i hate being a bitch, and i know this is becoming a somewhat “dangerous” topic on livejournal, but shit…oy!

    just my thoughts.

  6. dogcowguy is: standing up for LiveJournal

    The people that thought they could do better invented Blogger, and in comparison to LJ, it’s CRAP!

    LJ is a community project. Blogger is centralised.

    LJ therefore can fix things quicker because it has more people working on it.

    Just take the support system for example….

    If you don’t like LJ, there’s two things to do. First, tell someone why you don’t like it, and then leave if you still don’t like it…
