so peopl are asking where the bookshelf was in the picture of my dad… wanna see? i grabbed the original off my camera again and put them side by side. i think whoever took the pic had the flash off, so i had to brighten it. and of course the bookcase had to go! unfortunalty when i want to take a picture, oceans do not part and unsitly furnature does not vanish… so i often have to remove unsightly objects and background people from images. i do think i have worked up quite a skill at photo editing…

I love photo editing too! Photoshop rox! I have gotten rid/added many a background. In the future it won’t be so taboo to have a touched-up photo 🙂 Just curious, how many of your photos (digital, webcam, scanned, etc) on your site end up altered in this way? They all seem soo perfect and clean, I was just wondering. I like them though. You are good at this 🙂

tough blend
hard to blend the background totally. looks pretty good, but it still looks cut and pasty. but mostly cuz you sed you changed it. wouldn’t have looked otherwise. also it could use a little shadow or something on his shoulder and behind him.

I LOVE the Dutch masters… I’ll throw Escher in there too! A great artist who did great things in his day..even managed to crank out a few durring the occupation! A true workhorse..
