stephanie is: grrm. grrm.

well, bah! today and tomorrow i took leave-with-out-pay from work to change my name at several places and (hopefully) have the t1 installed. we get to where we were supposed to pick up copies of our wedding certificate so we could go do the name changing and they told us they havn’t recieved it yet. argh!! we had been told we could get copies right away if we went in person, but it turns out you can only do that if you bring in the sign thinger from the jop yourself. we had PLANNED to do that too but at the cerimony we found out we would be gone too long on the hunnymoon (cause of business days and stuff) so we gave it to the jop to do. grr grr. big fucking waste of a day i don’t get paid for. so in an attempt to be productive anyway, we started planning our backyard landscaping, went to home depot, and left with preliminary patio materials (including 400 lbs of gravel). it was too late for danny to start breaking the ground though.

so yea, i am still stephanie innanen i guess. i can’t change anything important without those copies and now we have to wait at least 5 more business day. which means taking another day/partial day off sometime soon. tomorrow is supposedly our t1 day but i am starting to doubt it cause someone came by on the 22nd while we were away when they weren’t supposed to. fucktards. i’m not going to hold my breath.

danny is upstairs napping. i didn’t want to cause bedtime isn’t too far away. so i am bored. i have a dvd to watch but i wanted to watch it with him.

  1. I had icky problems like that with my marriage certificate too.. Jason and I got married on Jan 3 and it didn’t come till almost valentines day…

  2. Name changing process….

sux completely. If your experience is anything like mine, you’ll need a half day JUST to change your social security number. I was at my local SSA office for 3 hours just to fill out the stoopid form and hand it to the rude woman so she could stamp it. Very frustrating. I didn’t realize how many things I would have to change. Credit cards, checking accounts, movie rental cards, library cards, car loans, mortgage, insurance, magazine subscriptions, and on and on….and I still haven’t changed my name on everything. I don’t know how it is in VA but in PA it cost $$ and is a complete pain in the ass to change your name on car loans (have to get a new title, inspection, etc.) so I never did it. I wish you luck and hope it’s as painless as can be. Oh, and congratulations. I hope you liked Cancun. :o)
