stephanie is: tired from a full day…
herro! it is soo nice here! we woke up at 6 or 7am (late sunrise: 1, 2). that is prolly cause we went to sleep at 8pm, heh. the weather is great. we had breakfast (1, 2) at an international buffet off the main lobby.
afterwards we signed out some bikes, and cycled around the resort for about 45 minutes. (around the resort: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, ) it felt good!

danny really wanted to rent a wave runner (jet ski) thinger. scarrieee! i decided i would be brave and go too, since i would have a life jacket on. it cost $45 (since motorized water sports are not included). we put our towels in a locker and got our life jackets and some instructions. danny and i shared one (no WAY was i driving). he sat in front with a kill switch attached to him and i was behind – holding on for dear life. zooooom! he zoomed fast and i screatched, hehe. my eyes were often closed because of the salt water spraying my contacts. he started to get bolder and go faster. i felt him going into a turn very fast – and sure enough, the wave runner turned right and we flew left. i couldn’t let go of danny in time so his life jacket smacked my face as i fell in back-first. i just blew the salt water out of my nose and stayed still and i rose to the surface. the wave runner was off (thanks to the kill cord) and a little ways away. we swam back to it and clumsily climbed back on. we went back to the shore shortly after that as i was about wave-runnered-out. heh. i actually had a lot of fun. it was prolly good that i fell cause i saw i had nothing to be scared of.
we rinsed off in the little showers and got some drinks to sit with on the beach. my version of sun bathing involves shade, a hat, and lots of spf15-spf60, hehe. i wanted to shower for real so i did that and danny went to return our towels.
after we were clean and fed, we took a bus to a shopping area and walked and walked and walked. my feet said “we’re done” and i said “ow” and we took a taxi back to the room.
we had a “special” candlelight dinner that was included in the honeymoon package. that just meant less food to choose from since it wasn’t a buffet. i had some lame sliced fruit and veggie salad. it was like the garnish they put on the side of a real meal. they brought soup second, hmm okay. it was cold gaspato soup. it tasted like they put my salad though a blender. dessert was tasty fruit crepes with different fruit sauces. they tasted like melted fruit rollups. mmm. okay i MUST sleep now.
Great Pictures…….
the ocean there is sooooooo beautiful!!
Sounds FUN!
Sounds like you are having a great time, Steph!
Have fun now cuz it will be back to reality soon! hehehe It really looks beautiful there and I loved the story about the wave runner. Greg and I have one similar to that ‘cept we were in waters in Florida with alligators (which we really didn’t know at the time)and we couldn’t get are stupid asses back on the jetski! We were laughing sooooo hard! They are fun.
Sounds like an awesome trip! Hope you had fun! yay! Oh! And also, the pics are so great! They add so much to all your stories! =)
