stephanie is: ick ick…

it’s been a rainy day. and rainy days mean mold allergies for me. i get a headache, fever, and runny nose from it. it was also very hard to breathe.

i olny went out to take bean for a quick walk after it stopped raining. most of my day was spent making quicktime movies from old camcorder tapes. a tedious job – fast-forwarding to find good clips then using a lame video capture program (it takes it 5 seconds to start recording) and cutting it down in quicktime. too bad that mac video software is so pricey.

we are just ordering pizza (cheeseless for me) tonight cause it’s just one of those days. i feel too ick to cook. hopefully the dampness will head out overnight.

yes, it is nasty. it was soggy and i tossed it out after one peice. luckily it was free with a coupon. i should stop trying to eat pizza.

cheeseless because i am allergic to cheese.

How ’bout iMovie? It’s $49.00 to download from the Apple store. Not really that pricey, and for just generic Quicktime movies, it’s pretty good. It does use DV input, but you can get DV converters, I believe, if your camcorder isn’t equipped with FireWire.

Just a suggestion – it’s definitely cheaper than FinalCut Pro.

The same sorts of people that make USB cards, make FireWire cards. That might push it out of your price range, but it’s just a suggestion. 🙂
