stephanie is: still recovering from a migraine.

my headache is still here. better but very bad. the more i have moved around, the worse it has gotten. last night after i got offline, i went upstairs and cried. it was sooo ouchie. i took a shower which always helps me to knock the headache down a notch. danny and i had a dvd we were going to watch but we kept it an extra day cause of my migraine. i didn’t sleep very well so i am exhausted today. i woke up at one point and danny was laughing in his sleep – i wonder what he was dreaming of…

so yesterday afternoon we went and got our marriage lisence. i had to check my camera in at a sheriff’s desk – doh! i would have left it in the car had i known. i didn’t really think about it cause it is always with me. after a failed attempt and walking up the down escilator (don’t ask, heh) we went up to the third floor and found the window for marriage stuffs. they needed $30 cash and our ids. yipes! good thing i got $40 out of the atm this weekend or we’d be shit out of luck. we had to fill out forms, wait, re-check they typed versions, wait, then swear all the information was true. i think they should have had us pinky-swear instead of raising our right hand. pinky-swearing is much more sacred. so we have the license and it is good for 60 days. the monday after we get back from the honeymoon we are going back to turn it in and get copies of the marriage certificate so we can got to social security and the dmv to get my name changed. oo fun fun.

danny waned to go take care of our lack of guest furnature situation after we were done since he had a $50-off coupon for ikea. after a long drive out to the outlet mall, we paused to eat since it wwas 4pm and neither of us had had lunch. i had a big yummy salad and some french fries. then we went into ikea and picked out a bed, matress, and dresser. i wanted to get a desk too so i’d have somewhere to build my dollhouse kit, but they were out of the tabletop i wanted. everything is getting delivered on saturday. we drove around to the other side of the mall to go to “homeplace” because i remembered seeing that they are having a sale on “bed-in-a-bags”. we picked out one that was black and tan and got two pillows for it.

when we got home i got right to work on finishing the wedding invitations. i got the r.s.v.p’s and their envelopes done, i got info sheets for out-of-town guests done, and got everything stuffed into the right envelopes when a migraine hit me. i lost 60% of my vision as i normally do with a migraine. i knew that part would last several hours so i just kept working. i did all the sealing wax on the envelopes nearly blind, so hopefully it is centered.

i think that is everything i couldn’t write up yesterday. head hurts though – OW.
