i got a lot done on the wedding invitations yesterday. danny wants me to finish them this weekend. i got the text designed and printed on vellum, i cut each sheet into 4 with my exact-o knife then trimmed the ragged edges with scissors, i sprayed the back of each with spray-mount and stuck them on handmade (not by me) paper with grasses and rose petals in it, i put them under phone books while they dried, and i put a drop of rose oil on the back of each to make them smell nice. i also got all of the outter envelopes addressed. i ended up printing them out because i have been only typing for so many years that my handwriting is too lame. i need to: print our address on the r.s.v.p.’s, buy stamps for them, print the r.s.v.p. cards out, put everything in the envelopes, seal and stamp them, and use red sealing wax with a rose stamp on each envelope. phew.

i think danny is going to go to his brother’s apartment to watch a hockey game or something today. i need to stay here and do the invitation stuff i guess. i have more valentines to do, but i don’t know when i will be able to afford stamps for them (i need about 40 still). i already have to get 2 stamps for each wedding invitation. bleh to stamps!

my other missions this week are to find doc martin sandles for at least 50% off. i can’t afford to pay $100 for sandles… and we need to pick the restaurant we are having the reception in after the wedding.
