okay, so scratch the plan about trying to return to work today. my temp is hovering around 100 and i keep gagging on my coughs. my lip keeps cracking open when i sneeze – OW. i wish i could just sleep the whole day away but i just cough the entire time i am in bed. i am so fucking bored and lonely! arggh! the only time i have left the house is saturday and i suffered because of it. i just want this to be over already.

Chicken noodle soup with hot sauce in it…..(you can pick out the Chicken)
This fixes EVERYTHING colds, flu,etc.
It should have enough hot sauce in it to make you sweat! hehe
I don’t remeber if you like hot stuff but it works…

Ohhh poor Steph. I feel so bad for you. I can’t even remember the last time I felt the way you do. Let’s hope that you get better today. And don’t get sick (knock on wood) ever again. Eating hot stuff and sweating is out sounds like a plan. If you do cough syrup make sure either drowsy or non drowsy depending if you want to sleep the day away. I was trying to find my herb book, but I can’t find it. Sorry. But soon as I do I’ll let you know a really good way to get better.
More advice..
Here is some of my best Mama advice… elevate your head, it will help you sleep. Either sleep on a few pillows (under your shoulders too, you don’t want a sore neck!)or put some rolled up towells under the head of the mattress. That way, you won’t choke when you are trying to sleep, and you will cough less.
My son used to get bronchitis all the time, so I had to do it for him.

Chapstick for those cracked and dry lips punquin, i never leave home with out mine. I never get to kiss anyone but if i ever do i have smooth silky lips….LOL…. the rest of the advice youe getting sounds good, now call Danny and tell him to pick you up some cherry chapstick!!!
