dizzy…
ahhh i just took a shower. i hadn’t had one since wednesday night – yuck! and i hadn’t brushed my teef since thursday night – yuck yuck. it is nice to be squeaky-clean and minty-fresh again. my temperature is still in the mid 101’s, but i just took some of that oogy robitusin. i don’t like to take it more than once a day cause it makes me so dizzy and my heart races. hopefully it will help where the advil has been failing me. i don’t want my entire weekend ruined, so i need to get better. i never took my vitamin today – i couldn’t stomach any more pills. i gagged on the last two i took. bleh.
okay back under the covers i go… the shower warmth is fading and the chills are creeping back like little spiders dancing on my skin…
Aww…I hope punquin feels better soon so she can come out and play again with her pals….what would make you feel better? Any mp3 you can’t find? movie? warez??? dag will get…..

Ya know, “oogy” is a *damn good* description of how Robitussin tastes… ick 🙂 Regular Coke gets rid of the aftertaste very well, in my experience.
Older Robo CF contained phenylpropanolamine, which is not a good thing. If that’s what you’ve got, throw it away. They reformulated it to contain something else now.
Given that you don’t drink or take mind altering stuff, you might just be hypersensitive to dextromethorphan (it’s in Robo DM, Robo Max Strength Cough, and Robo Max Strength Cough & Cold, among others). It’s the main reason that people drink Robo recreationally (yeah, yeah, I tried it a few times… you think a *capful* of that stuff is bad? try a bottle… one of the big ones *shudder*… never, ever, ever again). Even in small doses, it makes a lot of people feel… “interesting”.

i take the robotusin gelcaps so i don’t have to taste it. is there bad stuff in those? i know i’m not supposed to have much of the psuedo-something in it… i spent much of my life unable to swallow pills and stuck with nasty liquid versions of exerything.

The most scary thing is that here we measure temperature in ?C… and at 100?C the water boils.
