danny came home early with pretty flowers for me. he also brought food but i have no appetite. i tried to sit in the kitchen with him while he ate a snack, but i was sooo cold i had to go up to bed again. i am drinking oj.. mmmm. i just all of a sudden became this weird combination of very cold and very hot. hot is sorta winning i think. maybe my fever is about to break? it is 102 right now. danny left a little while ago. he took china on a walk to his brother’s new apartment. i didn’t really want to be alone again but he was right when he said he couldn’t lay up there with me cause he couldn’t afford to get sick too. i am so lame though… i cried after he left. i just feel so awful and lonely. so i hobbled down here to get online in hopes of a little intertainment besides the awful tv and practicing spanish. i’d love to do site work but it is hard enough to type. i still need to start the wedding section…
oh! the wedding dress came! so fast! i had to pay $20 if i wanted it shipped in “under 2 weeks”… but geez that was quick! it is beautious! my only complaint is that it is white, but that is the one tradition i decided to stick to. it needs the standard alterations i do to all my dresses – take in the waist, shortent the straps, take in the bust a bit, and fill out the rest of the bust with a shaped bra that i cut all the straps and whatnot off of.
jeebus! i just got super duper hot! i wish there was enough snow that i could run outside and dive into it. nah, starting to get cold again. i think i shall take someone on here’s advice and got put a cold washcloth on my head or something. brr i am cold. grr grr being sick is SO lame. my advil needs to kick the hell in. i think it is loosing effectivness and just giving me a headache now. maybe i should go back to the robutusin – even though it makes my heart oogy.
i am on aim for a few more minutes if you want to un-loney me… *sniff*
I’m sorry you’re so feverish… it sounds horrible… Well at least you have a beautiful dress to look at and perk your spirits. 🙂

Quils
Whenever I get sick, I just take NyQuils to sleep at night, or DayQuils during the day.
They have never let me down, I suggest them to you.

I get the impression from earlier postings that Steph has to be careful with chemicals like dextromethorphan HBr (anticough) and pseudoephedrine HCl (decongestant), both of which tend to speed up the heart rate. They’re the two main ingredients of both ‘Quils, and the different Robitussins contain combos of them with guaifenesin (which is the stuff in some Robitussins which makes your stomach feel icky after you take it).
