bleh.
feeling kinda bleh. i hate not having an internet connection or website. bleh! we have the t1 applications in – we are waiting to hear more. we do know that it will be $25 more per month than they said because it is residential instead of business. and it could take up to 60 days instead of 30 for them to put in the t1. bleh bleh bleh.
today started with danny waking me up with snuggles and such. i made him a cheese sammich and myself some scrambled eggs and toast. we went out to see a matinee movie since it is cheaper than a later one. we saw “what women want”. it was cutish. the food there was HORRID. the popcorn tasted like sawdust. we don’t want to go to that theater again. it is frustrating when money is super tight and you splurge on $3 movie popcorn only to throw it out because it is stale and inedible.
i just got my oboe out and played it for the first time in a while. i have been in apartments for a few years and didn’t feel comfortable playing it with the paper-thin walls. i am suprised my fingers knew where to go so well.
now i am bored. i don’t have the drive to do site edits because the site is down (of course) but i can’t even ftp it over to the server cause the network isn’t set up for that.

I have a question – why don’t you guys get married?
we’ve been engaged for over a year – were supposed to get married in october but we were too busy moving into the new house. so sometime soon i guess. to us it is just a formality… we already know we are together forever.
Why?
Why should they even bother? It’s just an added expense that doesn’t really mean anything. They love eachother, they live together, they are happy, so why do they need a piece of paper to tell them that its ok to be in love? That’s ridiculous. I don’t think anybody should get married ever. If you love someone enough that you want to marry them, just live together. That way if it ever goes bad, you just move and its done with. The institute of Marriage is pointless and needs to be phased out. 🙂

oh i had too say something concerning this, its sounds like to me you got really burned by a ex-spouse and if thats so iam realkly sorry. I went thru a divorce in oct 82 that left me devastated and hating everyone and everything including marriage and i swore that i would never do it again but when i said that back then i was angry and very hurt. Today iam still single but its by choice and iam fairly happy but very lonely too. I dont date because i forgot how to but i would date again and would even think about the M-word if the right girl came along. I think the relationship stephi has is great and if she marries danny i will be happy for them like iam sure everyone else would be too. Theres nothing wrong with marriage i believe now, you will get back what you put into your relationship with people and your spouces, I myself put nothing into my marriage and thats what i got back. I was bitter for all the wrong reasons. Good luck to you and hey stephi let us know when the m-day will be,,,,=),,,,Jim

Last time I checked we were in Year 2000 coming into 2001.
-went to the Comdex show this year. Everybody is showing off all their hyper-bandwidth boxes. They can even multiplex multiple streams of fiber data over a single strand of fiber by using different colors of light and all sorts of other techniques.
Something like a million T1’s in a single fiber.
The big companies say that they can’t even keep up with the demand !
Where are all these boxes anyways ???
-drives me just crazy when people like you have to fork out $5,000.00 to help build out some multi-million dollar company’s infra-structure. I thought that was their job ? Do they pay you royalities after that ?
