i feel bleh. my site may be down up to 30 more days. some dsl companies went out of business causeing our isp to have to re apply for our dsl. so now we start all over again. i guess you’ll see it sometime next year.

punquin was finally added to kabalarians name means database…

i wish i could just curl up in a ball and nap. i have no time for naps until the weekend. oh well.

  1. Clarification

The problem was that Covad (our CLEC) had a bunch of dead-beat ISP’s. Covad finally cut-off all of these companies. The DS3 that our ISP connected to Covad through was owned by one of these companies. Our ISP was able to get a deal with Covad to connect directly to Covad now. They had to resubmit all DSL orders from the past month and a half or so. Covad has promissed that the orders will be expedited. Hopefully they can light a fire under verizon’s ass to get our loop setup, but I’m not holding my breath.

      Heh heh… Covad… expedite… *chuckle*

I don’t think the words “Covad” and “expedite” have ever been used in a positive entry (or post on any newsgroups) 😉

Good luck! *cough* you’re gonna *cough* need it *cough*

  2. awww

    Aww… poor sweaty! 🙂
Don?t feel too bad about your site not being up- that will make everyone even more happy after the when the site is back up – and lots of people will hopefully join (me too) your site and everything will be just fine…
you should take it as an opportunity for a creative (tho forced) break and take some time to yourself and danny and the new house and do fun things in your free time instead of stressing and worrying about everything… don’t stress yourself too much! We need you to be around here happy and healthy for some more 100 years or so…heh.
I wish you a nice week and an even lovelier weekend with romantic nights 😉
    …and long naps!

  3. I wonder if we could petition to Verizon to help expedite getting your loop set up. I bet if we flooded the email of their engineering/installation dept. they’d rush to get a crew out to get the job done.

  4. good luck with the dsl. my boyfriend WORKS FOR the company that gives us our net connection and STILL it took months and months of farting around to get us our connection. (and it’s only isdn speed. gah!)
