well, seeing as my old p.o.box is now closed and i waited all of november, i don’t think any of those 25 or so october mail-in donations i was promised are real. if you don’t remember, all during october, all site donations went to three cancer charities instead of to my server costs. due to overwhelming support by all of you (thank you!) we were able to get $380 for each charity!! i will be bumping them all up to $400 with my own money. i just made the first donation. it was to komen.org (a breast cancer charity). the donation was made in memory of my mother, who died of breast cancer when i was 5. my family thanks all of you who joined my site (or made repeat donations) in october to make this possible!
i will be spreading the other two donations out over a little time since $1200 is a whole lot to put on your credit card during christmas shopping season when you have a $2k limit! i will prolly pay off my credit card again a week or two into december then make the next donation. the remaining charities are braintumor.org (in honor of danny’s mom who passed away recently) and cancer.org.
so thank you again to all who helped make this $1200 in charity money possible!

i’ve only just started reading your journal (i’ve always caught you via charity’s LJ), but if you ever do a fundraiser again & are looking for a good charity you might consider http://www.parentsformeganslaw.com . i’m a member doing corporate fundraising for them, but any donations are always welcome. we’re looking to open up satellite offices in various parts of the country to provide probono help for people fighting against convicted pedophiles getting unsupervised visitation rights & also to provide a local base for education & information on if there’s registered pedophiles in ones area.
even if you don’t consider them for a fund drive, thank you for doing what you do for the charities you raise for š not alot of people do that. you are a good soul š
