cold & rained on…
that was a slow 12 mile drive! i left the house at 7:35. they are doing construction on the floor above us. it sounds like the ceiling is about to cave in.
i saw the worst roadkill on my way in. i think it was a racoon. i am glad i couldn’t see clearly cause if it was a cat a would have started crying. i nearly did anyway. it was laying on it’s back with its arms and legs spread. it was sliced open through it’s stomach the entire length of it’s body. you could see every organ. it’s intestines were unraveling and stretched out a few feet from the body. *shudder!*
okay. time to do work now. i wish i had a hot bowl of oatmeal…

well i don’t associate dead animals with food. i haven’t eaten meat in 8 years. so i wouldn’t be grossed out eating after it.

thats a funny thought- I am not sure if I associate dead animals with food or not-I certainly don’t think meat sounds very good after seeing a corpse on the road. I haven’t eaten meat since mid 1994…I think its just the gross- out factor I was thinking of. Seeing something gruesome would might make you lose your appetite. I don’t think meat-eaters see roadkill and think about dinner. mmmmm roadkill cafe`!

hehe i’ve never lost my appetite over something gross (unless the something gross was my dinner). wen i was little i would tease my friends and say “you know what your food looks like….?” hehe
i always have to look too then end up crying…
i read that “if gore grosses you out” and thought, hmm i know i am not paying that much attention to the elections but is he really that gross?

i always start crying when i see hurt animals 🙁 it breaks my heart..i’ve actuallie seen 1 or 2 cases where the car in front of me didn’t even stop for an animal and saw them and just hit them and kept going..i had to swirve out of the way to avoid hitting the animals again and to get my sanity back..that is one of the worst things i think i have ever seen.. 🙁
not enough room
it’s really sad all of the road kill the seems to be on the roads. I think a lot of it is because they are slowly getting pushed outta their natural environment, sent out on the roads looking for some sort of food. I’ve seen so many deer lately. And it seems like the DOT is so slow in removing them. But maybe that’s not such a horraible thing, cause all of the coorporate yuckies can see what their senseless acts are selfish decisions are doing to the animals.

i hate seeing dead animals on the road. it makes me mad. why can’t people just slo down or pay attention to the road in front of them?
i once almost hit a cat because it ran out of my way and then back into my way but damnit i still stopped and avoided hitting it! twice!
i saw both a skunk and a baby opossum hit this past week. i think i might’ve saved the opossum.. it looked like his leg was broken so my brother and i moved him off the street and onto the sidewalk. and when i came home later that day, he was gone. i hope he was ok.

tripe story
Menudo-I would not eat that for any amount of $- heh. However,Menudo was also a boy band which at one point contained Ricky Martin. actually I think menudo is still around? ( the group)
also haggis and tripe. wait a sec! I think haggis and menudo are about the same thing but tripe is a cows stomach
okay get this: recently I watch watching FoodTv cooking channel and Julia Child came on and she was cooking tripe; it was very graphic. It looks soft and fluffy, and spongy and kind of like human flesh. Pinkish white. Even though I am vegetarian-girl I was transfixed by the utter grossness of this food. I was just watching her cut a stomach with scissors and talking about it in that wild voice she has and I did not change the channel. ahaha. 🙂 bleh!
Sniff Sniff
I bawled all night (night before last) My doggy got ran over, and she just laid there. It was awful. The cable guy left our gate open, and she escaped. The person who hit her didn’t even stop. (by the way, my baby Mia is doing okay, just sore thank goodness)
