stephanie is: a little sleepier a little sleepier…

i am back…we saw “almost famous”. good movie! i recommend it…

right after my last entry i took a nap. i got hit by a serious case of the sleepies. i woke up at one point cause danny was making noise and i could hardly lift my head. it felt like i was filled with wet sand. i got myself up at 8pm so we could go to the mall to see the movie. dan picked out a mexican place there for dinner. the food was pretty bad. unfortunatly, i can still taste their black beans. bleh. hehe.

in the car when we were trying to leave the parking garage, i had a bit of a crackfit… danny pointed out the a spider was inside the car crawing towards me on the windshield. i was freaking out and squirming in my chair. i just wanted it to go out the window. i really don’t like spiders. i have been bitten before and had giant red blotches covering my entire legs. however, i was over-reacting to this little tan spider. dan was telling me to calm down. i was telling me to calm down. but when it dropped down onto my chair by my shoulder i went nuts and started crying and pounding at it. i rode the rest of the way without moving at all, feeling like a dumbass. i dunno where the spider went. it is prolly mad at me and laying eggs in my brain or something.

  1. eeeeeek, spiders! I’ve got arachniphobia something awful..Anytime I even see a spider I start crying and feel like I can’t breathe right, when one gets on my I just start screaming….eek! I’m crazies!

  2. AHHHHHHHHHH I hate spiders. I WILL go out the car door if I see one inside if it’s at all possible. I have nearly caused several accidents when bugs are in the car because I have deemed the car to be traveling slow enough for me to jump out. EW!

  3. Don’t feel stupid. I am like that with bugs, although not spiders. I spent the early part of my week with rotting dead bodies, and I was more afraid of the bugs on them than icked out by the bodies.

  4. funniie

funny story. We have SO MANY SPIDERS in my house- mostly all daddy longlegs. Usually I am used to them and let them live ( because there are too many to kill- it would be a full time job) but sometimes I get mad and violent towards the big scary ones and want to kill them with reckless abandon. Any bug that invades your *personal space* may be in for a beating. Now it will send its friends after you BEWAAAARE BWAAHAHAHAAghaaaaa ::ahem:::: sorry about that.

  5. Well, spiders…

…I heared about a therapie against arachnophobia, in wich you first view videos of spiders see living spiders then touch them and so on…at the end the girl was able to let crawl a huge black “birdspider”(sp?) on her, without having fear or feeling uncomfortable. See it like that the spider fears you more than you fear the spider, ’cause you’re able to kill it. I for myself had no problems with spiders, they eat bugs and I don’t like insects exept butterflys and bees.
Well don’t feel bad about, that you react like that, you can’t contol it, but you should think about to get rid of this arachnophobia.
Have a nice Sunday, Stephanie 🙂

  6. eeek!

i woulda been jumping out of that car screaming! u r brave 🙂 i had a small spider in my car once while i was driving..steve kept telling me to calm down. but it went out of my eyesight and i knew it was right next to me. so i said “fuck this” and pulled over to the side of the road and had steve get the spider out..hehe! i HAAATTTEE bugs! 🙂

  7. oooo i’m the same way with spiders and bees! my boyfriend always tells me i need serious therapy for it! hehe

btw::i haven’t seen a movie in the theater for nearly a year..none have caught my eye and we also hate going to the theater. until i saw “almost famous” i really want to see this one! i’m glad you said it’s good..

  8. I do not like spiders!

In the past month I have found 4 different giant wolf spiders in my house. The little ones don’t freak me out as much but those giant wolf spiders are just aweful. The are about 2 1/2 – 3 inches big and creepy. 3 of them were in the shower and met my bottle of shampoo and one was crawling on my leg in bed one night. It freaked me out. When I am out in the garden in the fall that is when all the spiders are out and have a of webs. I was picking tomatos from my tomato vines the other day and kept getting spider webs on me. I itch all day long till I can get in to the shower. If I see one I start to itch and the itching doesn’t stop till I have had a shower, because I think it is a subliminal thing about them being on my body. As a matter of fact I am itching now just thinking about it. ewww

    • eww! i think it was a wolf spider that bit me that time that my legs went splotchie. i think i am a bit allergic to all spider bites cause i get big red lumps at the very least. but i got that one bite in my ex bf’s basebent bedroom when i was asleep on a futon (low to the ground). he had to have exterminators come. afterwards there were hundreds of little dead spiders around the edges of the room. and a dead 4″ one! ack!!

  9. Ask Richard

Actually, if ya cook em up, they are pretty tasty.
Just ask Richard Hatch. I had to eat one as a hazing task for my fraternity. Now whenever I see one, I think, “hmmm, it WOULD be cheaper than going out and buying a chicken.”
