alarmed

arrggh!!! i hate hate hate hate hate bugs. they need to stay outside far far away from me. i have been trying to ignore them but i can’t anymore! first a couple days ago i was sitting here at my desk and felt something on my toe. i tried ignoring it cause i am always paranoid that i have bugs and stuff on me and i am always wrong. well i finally looked down and it was a cockroach! ack! i sent the cats down to get it but it got away. then on friday i was getting my brush out of my bathroom drawer and the was a bug in the that looked JUST like a tick! i was able to smoosh it with a tissue. cockroaches are the only thing that are too fast for me to smoosh usually. oh and yesterday there was a mosquito in here biting me. and just now i feel something on my mouse arm and look down to see a huge cockroach crawling on my arm. AAARRGHHHHH! ew! ew! ew! ew! ew! it is hiding in my little set of pencil and paper clip drawers. it has popped out once or twice but disappeared again. i am afraid to touch anything or put my feet on the floor. all this rain is driving the bugs into the building. i feel sorry for people on lower floors – it must be really bad down there. i think i will pick up in here after my shower so the buggies have less places to hide. the kitties keep knocking over my trash can so there a papers under my desk for them to hide under. GAH i hate bugs. i just want them to leave me alone!

  1. Bugs are evil

I had to laugh when I read your post, because I’m the same way. After I even *see* a bug I’ll feel things for about the next hour because I think the bug has found me. Cockroaches are the worst.. ugh..just thinking about it..

  2. Eeeekkk!

I’m the same way! I hate *ALL* bugs!

My husband, Chris and I, we went to this mall and there was this bug show. This guy had Cockroaches from both movies, Men In Black and Joe’s Apartment…you know those huge ….huge….HUGE ONES???? Well, I wanted to face my fear…and I did! I let one crawl on my hand…it was REALLY strange!!!! Really creepy! But I still hate bugs!

  3. eeek!

  4. Roaches

Hey a word of warning and not to make you paranoid but be very careful when you move or else you could bring the roaches with you. It sucks and I know someone it happened to. She was so pissed.

    Shoo bugs Shoo

  5. i had the same problem in my last dorm room…only not bugs, MICE. I would be sitting at my desk and hear a little rustle and look down to see a mouse crawling up the wall 2 inches from my leg. i have alot more gross stories about them, but it’s all in my journals from february and march.

  6. *screams*

AAAAHHHH, I have bugs on meee! EEEEEEKKK!

Okay, I don’t, but I am freaked out now. hehehe. I would DIE if I ever saw a cockroach in here. I mean it, I would DIE. I’m sooo scared of them. They are the satan of bugs. Luckily I’ve only ever seen them at Fred’s college. There were tons of them running across the walkway.. ewwwww. Of course I freaked. eww.. bugs.. aaaahhh.. I can’t think about it anymore!

  7. vermin

I spent a summer in El Paso Texas where we kept getting scorpions and centipedes in the house. The scorpions were pretty small (they could fit on a dollar bill) but the centipedes were huge (about a foot long). They made hissing noises.

    I’ve been scarred for life…

  8. Same here too – if it’s got more eyes and/or limbs mesa outta there 🙂

We played a boardgame called balderdash the other day. They invented a word – “formication” (with an ‘m’, yes!). It’s when you feel like you’re covered in bugs. Usually I use it to describe my customers, he he he, but you give it a practical meaning!

    Peace and bugrepellant

  9. Wasps

I’m having some “bug” problems too. I’m sitting at my desk at home and hear this bug hit against the wall. I look up, and it’s a wasp! yikes! I ran out of the room like a scaredy-cat. The next day, I found another one in the bathroom. The bathroom has a skylight, and I think they are getting in from there. They are the blue colored “mud dauber” variety. I always felt safe in this house…until now.

Those type are usually not agressive, so don’t worry too much. It could be worse! *bzzzzz*

  10. Roaches!

The other day I saw one crawling across my kitchen floor. It was huge! Well, for a roach. I smashed it with my BF’s shoe. *splat!* It was gross! My BF made me wash his shoe off. *laugh*

I would die if I was in your situation. I would either be paralyzed with fear or run screaming out into the street. Please tell me that you have called your landlord and gotten him to spray the apt down? My boyfriend is entirely phobic of bugs?he would never return to the apt after anything like what you have been going through?so phobic in fact that I cannot even repeat your story to him b/c he would need a major calming-down afterwards? poor guy. But yeah, good luck and I don?t know how you can handle it! Eeeew.

    • Re: ugh

we just had the apt sprayed in june! they had us remove all out kitchen and bath stuffs so they could be thourogh. i guess they are hiding from all the bad rain we have been getting…
