I read your journal occasionally and I really like those smileys that you’ve created. They’re very cool and cute. You mentioned using some MAC application to create them. Is there an equivalent for Windows? If so, how much does it cost?

i use photoshop to make them, gif animator (freeware i think) to animate them. i have no clue if there is gif animators for pc. the newest photoshop comes with imageready which can animate, but i don’t really like it.

i use windows pc’s mostly, and have done a bit of animation (nothing usable tho!) i used photoshop, along with some filters like eyecandy to add bevels and shiny shadows and stuff, is good for making the individual frames. you can animate them using something called GifAnimator which comes packaged with … either front page or image composer (microsoft products). I’ts a small program. There is also an animatior that comes with Ulead products, and one that comes with Paint Shop pro. Try going to http://www.tucows.com or http://www.winfiles.com to look for a freeware one if you can’t find the packaged ones.

I use the Gif Construction Set from Alchemy Mindworks … if I recall correctly, you can d/l a fully functional version that keeps bugging you to register it … and registration is only $20.00. Good stuff! Alchemy Mindworks also has a real cool deal … a CD-ROM with all of their programs for $10.00 (with those beg screens, of course!). it doesn’t seem right, does it? i have to take six different tablets twice a day when i have my girl problems- plus dealing with the stabbing before-hand pains, the PMS, sore body etc. what is the boi equivelent???? NOTHING!
