i slept a long time… but i think i needed it. my body it trying very hard to fight off danny’s cold germs and i am not sure that it is completely winning anymore. i don’t know what we are going to do today. danny might not want to go out at all. we both have been wanting to go get some mexican food but he hasn’t felt like leaving the house. it sounds like he is it the coughing-stuff-up-stage today 🙁 -but at least that means he should get well soon. you may have noticed a link on my main page to the “top 100 cam girls” page. it is actually a ranking site where whoever send the most traffic gets their site listed first. i normally don’t join them but i decided to try this one out since it is a non-adult list. but i absolutly refuse to ask for votes like all the other girls seem to do. i think that is kinda pathetic. but that is not what i am complaining about. last night i took a look at the site after forgetting about it for quite a while, and i realized that nearly all the sites on the top ten had pictures of sexy legs or deep cleavage as their banner. what the hell? isn’t this supposed to be a non-adult ranking? or is it just a go-as-far-as-you-can-push-it-without-showing-nipples-or-vagina listing? hrm. i am considering takeing myself out, just cause it seems like the people who are winning, are winning because they are begging and showing off their bodies for votes. tell me what you think: |

I agree with you. All the girls that are ever in the top of cam rankings are “sexy legs” cams or the infamous aimee cleavage cam. In my opinion its pretty cheap but then again when I have expressed my opinion on this before I get emails that say “your just jealous”.

For better or for worse, a lot of the Cam Girl sites seem to promote that they are R and occasionally XXX … and use the little “teaser” shots to draw a crowd. I think you should keep your site stylish, clever, artistic. If a guy is looking for T&A, he can go to another site.

I agree they are all like that! They all somewhat show something they shouldn’t. Well not to offend anyone but the owner of the site wrote an email out to everyone in the ranking that its a family ranking and that if people showing off a little to much or something isn’t stoped she will delet you. And the way i see it is that she never actually took any action to this inless she thinks that the boobie shots and leg shots are ok. (she wrote the email over a month ago) Also some of the pages aren’t that great and hard to navigate through.. I guess thats just my own opinion. but I agree!
yeah..i joined some teen chicky cam thing…and this girl had a banner that was sposed to be all “sexy” with legs ands booty and cleavage…but it was a teen thingy..no nakedness!! it makes no sense…..and she had a crappy site…bleh.

I do agree, all most all of the sites where definitely using sex to attract visitors to their site. One site that I visit that wasn’t in the top 10, http://www.summer-web.com is run by a friend of mine named Cindy. She will leave a cam pic with her smiling sometimes when she doesn’t have the cam on live, but she surely doesn’t advertise or try and make her site adult oriented. Her motto is “Smart, Sexy, and Alluring — But Never Naked”.
That’s one of the thing I love about your site is that you make it interesting without having to lure people in with sex. You are pretty enough to do it but you choose not to and I admire you for that.
I wouldn’t pull my site off if I were you, it would be good for your site to move up to the top and show the girls that a talented person doesn’t have to cheapen herself to succeed. But I can see why you wouldn’t want to associated with that type of hyporcritical organization.

but on a non-adult ranking, when the webmaster is trying to promote non-sexually-oriented, family-safe sites, i wonder about sites that stick up photos of their bursting cleavage or garters and stockings. the webmaster even wrote a note a while back to everyone asking them to tone it down a bit but nothing was ever done.
