stephanie is: working work…

<RANT>
i was driving to work and came up upon an intersection in the left turn lane. there was a car blocking 3 lanes of traffic trying to get from the right turn lane to my lane (idiot) right in front of me. it took her a while to straighten out when we got our green arrow so neither of us made it through before the light turned back to a red arrow. so we sit there waiting at the red arrow and i forgive her for being dumb, when all of a sudden she just turns! what the hell?? we had a red arrow and there were cars coming! what is wrong with these people?! learn to drive!!! red means STOP.

    I totally agree with you. There are way too many dumb drivers out there! Sometimes I think there should be an intelligence test given along w/ a drivers license test – same should go for people who want to have children. There are too many stupid people in this world who reproduce and just end up propogating generations of idiocy.

      I concur about the intelligence tests. I also think they should have to take sanity/aggression tests.

      On the interstate this morning, I was trying to get from the second lane to the far right lane so I could exit. This VW drivin piece of monkey #$@* actually sped up to prevent me from getting into the lane. Then he didn’t even exit! I might have forgiven him if he just wanted to be first down the ramp, but he was just hanging out in the far right lane specifically to cause problems. Tell me that guy had a happy childhood.

        Ahh the famous blocking move!!! Last Friday we were driving up North and this lady gave us the finger along with the MOST disturbing look I have ever seen! While she was flicking us off I looked at her and laughed my ass off! People need to take a deep breathe and relax for a minute or two! Along with that “GET OFF THE DAMN CELL PHONE” phew!

          My favourite thing to do when being thwarted by some piece of shiznit on the roadway is give em the thumbs up. Flash them this huge grin and raise your thumb high in the air. It’s SO comical to me, and seems to really make people angry. But what right have they? I’m giving them a positive gesture! It seems to get my point across. πŸ™‚

          My dad has the all time best asshole-on-the-roadway story, though. He’s a priest, and he was driving down the freeway from church in his sportscar. Wearing his collar. This guy rides his ass and then darts out next to him and slows down enough to flip my dad this really angry middle finger so he’ll see it. My dad just turns really casually to the guy and slowly makes the sign of the cross, as if blessing him.

          What a fawking riot! My dad is the coolest guy ever.

            Hehe! That must have been really funny!

            In my subdivision, there are several roundabouts (an effort to slow traffic down). Since they are so uncommon in North America, most people don’t know how to use them. But the signs posted are VERY clear. One day, I entered a roundabout (the right way) and some guy in a truck entered the wrong way. He freaked. He was screaming and swearing at me, spit was flying and his face was all red. He called me every name. We had both stopped our cars. He was screaming and I was staring – it was really quite a site. I had a video camera on the passenger seat (I was on the way to lend it to a friend). I picked it up as if I was taping him (there was no tape in it). I just sat there, “taping”. It took a couple of seconds, but once he saw what I was doing, he snapped his mouth shut and sped off – over curbs and everything!

            Maybe I should always have that camera with me!
