sooo sleepies! it’s been a long, dragging week. danny is at a party that is being given by one of the others who are setting up the synthpop festival. i always feel so very uncomfortable when i try to go to parties. everyone drinks and talk while i sit and think about going home. i hate hate hate being around people who are drinking – even just little bits. so i just stayed home.
i made a new flash postcard for my pooh site. you can find it here. it is the eeyore one at the end – the first semi-interactive one i have done in order to teach myself draggable objects. it was so simple!

i’m the same way..i hate hyooj groups..and drunk stoopids don’t make it any better..hehe! that’s the one substance i can’t stand being around.. but i do love clubs to death..cause i can just dance in my own little space and go off into my own little world for hours without noticing all the people.. yay =D i hate sounding anti*social.. =)
oooh i wish i could go to that festival =( my boi works tho.. and i’d prolly end up in a panic attack if i tried to go by myself…i adore industrial/synthpop musick =^.^= oh well..shake your bootie to some songsies for me! =D nite!

Sober undercover.
My problem has always been convincing drinkers that I was hanging out with that it was okay for them to drink. I enjoy hanging out with my friends (and have come to accept that they do what they do) and I don’t want them to think that I can’t be around because they’re imbibing a little. It’s fair of them not to invite me to the occaisions when their only plan is to drink and I’m thankfull for it. Still, I have a feeling if I hadn’t worked at getting over it, I’d hang out with them a lot less. It’s hard enough to find friends without being too picky.
Matthew at the friend store – “Oh, yes. I’d like one that’s loyal, funny, artistic, well-educated, clean living, honest, and smiles a lot. What am I looking to pay.”
Customer service – “Those are the deluxe models on aisle five. We’re talking somewhere in the ballpark of priceless. If you like though, we’re having a sale on friends that are loyal, funny, artistic, well-educated, honest and who smile a lot since there’s an overstock of them.”

i agree that it is not any fun being around a bunch of drunks. i do drink an occasional one beer but i no longer have any desire to get drunk! not only does it impair your abilities, you also become an ass too. no one wants to be with an ass.
mainly, most of the people who drink at parties end up driving afterwards and that is very, very bad!
You love pooh too? I sleep with a little piglet… I think I recall hearing you say something along the lines of really only liking classic pooh. Same here 🙂
