The vet had me bring Benny in because he was starting to have diarrhea multiple times per hour. They gave him a bland diet and medicine. Now he is coming to work with me.
Harley had that, they wouldn’t confirm parvo but he ended up being hospitalized for a week thereafter. Very sick puppy. Hope this is just the squirts, but please be on the lookout just in case.
Well, he had coccidea when we brought him home from the mountains (though no one else in his litter ended up with it) He was on meds for 2 weeks and had no symptoms. Last night his fecal was negative, but an hour after his appt (where he got his second dhpp and de-worming) he started having hourly diarrhea.
At the vet this morning, they decided to treat him with coccidea meds again, since sometimes it doesn’t show up in their fecal, and diarrhea is the main symptom. It won’t harm him if he doesn’t have it – it will treat his diarrhea either way.
Little man is out cold under my desk now.
he’s getting bigger by the day. Look at that nose.
