So, while I was coming back from California, I lost the case holding 2 of my three Nintendo DS games: Brain Age and Nintendogs. The Brain Age isn’t a big deal – I had bought it right before the trip. But, my Nintendogs… I had had that for over a year. All the data is on the game card, so I no longer have my three sweet virtual dogs, Maggie, Charlie and Lola. I loose all the time I spent with them, everything they had found for me, their championships and the $25,000 they had earned towards their beach house. Ugh. It’s just a game, but it really sucks. And, of course we aren’t in a position to spend money on silly things. It is the crunch time of the month when we have to pay rent on the new house right after paying the mortgage on the old place. We got some hopeful news from our real estate agent, but those things go so slow. It stinks having money so tight.
I had that happen on a game I played as a kid. We spent months working on this game and developing a character. And then suddenly…the disk was dead and everything was lost. It was like a death in the family.
Even if its only a game….it still sucks.
When you get some more money, for $30 you could get an Action Replay DS and edit up your prize dogs again..
tnx
nice 🙂
