gone to the dogs

stephanie is: sleepy sleepy…
I really keep meaning to write. I practically dictate future entries in my head while showering. Unfortunately, they don’t magically end up on my computer. While I have a computer at work now (unlike the year and a half that I was taking care of the dogs in the doggy playrooms), I tend to start working the second I get to my desk, straight though lunch and don’t stop till it is time to go home.

I’ve been working on Stvlive.com in the evenings since getting back from California. I am making progress, but the only thing I’ve put live is the beta test of the new members’ home page. Next to go live will be a new navigation bar (very similar to the current – just jazzed up a bit).

Last night we had a bad thunderstorm. Poor India. She is so scared of lightening/thunder. She was hiding under our legs shivering and whining. And of course just when I convince her to lay with me on the bed and cuddle, a HUGE bolt of lightening shook the whole house. She spent the next 5 minutes standing up straight in the middle of the bed like the world was going to dump her off if she moved.Oh, baby girl. Such a wuss.

My “boyfriends” at work are two Australian Shepherd brothers. Their breeder is going to have a litter of puppies in a week I have been dying cause I want one so bad and their mommy keeps mentioning them. Aussie puppies sdjkfheiiwfawl!!@#!! Ahem.

So, the place I work at was featured in a front page article (with two great photos!) in the Washington Times yesterday for a donation drive we started. We are collecting items to send to military dogs stationed in Iraq. Treats, toys – even Blistex for their little noses. We’ve had a great response to it so far, and we will be sending out our first shipment soon. If you are interested in donating, you can email me for additional information.

Geez, my birthday is just over a week away! Should I post ye old wishlist? I don’t last year… Oh, why not! Who doesn’t like window shopping for presents? Or maybe it is just me, but I really like wasting time surfing Amazon.com adding and subtracting things from my wishlist.

Time to proof-read this month’s newsletter then get it sent out. I’ll write about my California trip when I finish going through all the photos I took…
