I called the vet this evening and asked if they’d be willing to try a non-sedated lion cut for my fluffball Himalayan, Simba. My vet was in today, so they took a message for me and said they’d get his opinion. They called back right after they closed and let me know they would try. They said they would have to stop if he seems too stressed (he has a heart murmur and shouldn’t be sedated unless it is an emergancy). I am hoping he will be fine with it like last time. His shedding is just more than I can keep up with this season, and it is to the point where he’d be happier with it gone. Without it shaved, the mats that are starting would be uncomfortable before long. So kittyman gets a haircut. He actually loved the final result last time. He strutted around like he was tough shit!
