destruction!

stephanie is: grrr grrr…
For the second time this week, I have come home to one of my books in shreds on the floor. The first time, it was a book I hadn’t even read yet. I have to go buy a new copy. This time the dogs ripped up the one I have just finished the night before. It had been sitting on my desk. If anyone happens to see the beasties shredding things on cam, please let me know or capture the pictures for me. I would like to know who the guilty party is. They both loooove to shred…

My poor books…

Dead books make me sad.

Today was a long day. I have a lot of work to get done, as our big important trade show is two weeks away. I have to get a new site up next week. It will be very colorful and cute.

There were two people out sick in the daycare today, and a bazillion dogs there because of Easter weekend.

I had taken a break from my office to go and get a picture of next weeks “Dog of the Week” for the website. I say my favorite doggies smiling at me through the gym window so I went in to say hi, with the excuse of taking pictures. Really, I just missed being in a room full of puppies. Everyone gives me hugs and kisses when I get in the room so I put my camera on a shelf and was just mingling until they calmed back down. I never got to take any pictures though – a few minutes later the daycare manager called me out to ask if I could stay late to help up front (ringing people up, bringing dogs out to their owners). It was her lucky day, as Fridays Danny works 10 am – 7 pm (and we carpool, so I work those hours too). I had to leave my web work, but I enjoyed getting some doggy time. I fixed about 60+ dinners for the puppies staying the night, then ran around like crazy when everyone came to pick up their dogs at once. Today felt like two days in one. Danny brought me a sammich though. He kicks butt.

Luckily I dressed in daycare clothes today (I guess I know I was going to want to visit the playrooms) – jeans and our logo tee shirt. I brought clean pants and a sweater to change into afterwards. Danny took me to P. F. Chang’s for dinner on the way home, then bought me dark chocolate covered strawberries from Godiva. I am spoiled! We were good and cooked dinner at home all week.

Tomorrow night Danny made plans for us to go out to eat with his office-mate and his wife. I am looking forward to getting to know them – he seems nice. I’ve only met him briefly when Danny has dropped lunch off for me. I am soooo ready for the weekend! *thud*

I haven’t written up a dairy entry about our vacation yet, but I am halfway through the photos I took. Soon soon… Here is a movie of us at Xcarat (an ecopark). I have shiny because I kept coating myself with biodegradable SPF 50. Click the photo for a Quicktime movie.

I want to take some photos. Any requests?
