So Danny is on his way to linux world in Boston. I dropped him off at the Metro station earlier, then ran errands. Since I’ve been home I’ve just been cleaning, with a little break to do some crochet. If anyone wants to get together for dinner or to just relax after work this week, let me know. I am good at not eating enough or regularly when left to myself for a while.
Tomorrow I am working from home so the contractors can rip up the carpet in my office. I have no idea how long I will be exiled. I brought my work computer home since there wasn’t really a safe place for it there with the office a disaster and drywall dust everywhere else where there isn’t dogs. The timing seems to have foiled one of Danny’s plans though… He told me before he left that I’ll have to stop by work tomorrow to get a delivery from him. Oopsie.
My ear is feeling a bit better, though it keeps me awake a lot. China has a matching ear infection so we are twins. She is not a fan of her ear treatment, but I just gave her another dose and she’s stopped shaking her head. Now if I can just get her to stop blowing out her winter coat! I’ve got it 70% brushed out. I have a bag of chow hair big enough to cover several Chow puppies.
Speaking of Chow puppies! We stopped by the PetSmart where one of our favorite dog rescues was set up for the day. They had a pen set up with all the fluffies and I hung out with them for a while. I got lots of Chow Chow kissed and hugs – especially from Hau’oli. He is a cuddler. Danny loves Mufasa. We need a huge ranch filled with a million dogs!
Hmm… What should I have for dinner tonight?
