so… i sewed my costume today. it came out just like my consept sketch. except that now i am convinced it is too lame to wear in public. danny thinks it is silly and says i look like pocahantas. i was going for a prehistoric-warrior-girl look. something along the lines of the earth’s children books (clan of the cave bear, etc…). so i need honest opinions of wether this is too stupid looking to go to the club in for halloween. i ran out of brown leather lacing (for the wrist warmers and to braid into my hair) so i need to pick some up tomorrow on our way to go biking. the thing with the feathers and wooden beads is a pouch to hold my cell/id/money. the fake boots are pretty dumb, i know, but i can’t go barefoot in d.c., can i? i think they came out as good as they could. it is a pain trying to safety-pin the fabric under my shoe.
