and the winner is…
well, i didn’t intend to spend my whole evening sewing her costume, but i am happy that i got it done so early. now i only have to look for a toy doctor kit so i can fill her pockets. i saw a fisher price one at toys ‘r us, but the items were too bulky and heavy for her pockets. i am thinking i’ll need to look at dollar stores and groceries for a really cheap-o set that is lightweight like this.
i ordered a scrub top and $8 stethoscope online for my vet costume. i just need to go buy scrub pants from a uniform store (they were backordered online, gah) and some white shoes. i’ll need a warm long sleeve shirt to wear under it since i’ll be outside in a parade… i am thinking i’ll get a performance top for biking and wear that. one of those thin expensive warm ones.
i have no idea if we are doing anything for halloween (that isn’t work related). so far i haven’t gotten any costume beyond my work-safe vet outfit. i am thinking danny won’t really be into halloween as per usual.
hopefully i will be able to fall asleep tonight. i got in bed at 8:30 pm last night (since my alarm was set for 4:45 am) but i could. not. sleep. i even played solitaire on my cell phone for a while because i couldn’t even keep my eyes closed. i need a big hammer.
