so i sewed my first ever doggy coat! i took india’s measurements and was trying to make her size (doggy XL), but it came out china’s size (doggy L). it is super soft polar fleece… reversable with charcoal gray on one side and a black asian print on the other. i don’t know if i should sell it or keep it. china doesn’t really need a coat – she has a thick chow chow fur coat built in.
simba is at the groomer today. i need to pick him up around 2pm. no shaving today – just a bath, brush-out, and nails. when the seasons change his hair suddenly leaps out of his body. i’m sure he’ll feel much better afterwards. i currently know how itchy it is to have lots of shed hair stuck to you – my braids need to be redone so i can comb it all out.
