worn out…
just a quick post because i am feeling the effects of both dehydration and allergies, so i am heading up to bed.
today we went into the city with danny’s aunt and two cousins. it was oppressively hot and humid. we got to see the world war two memorial. it seems really nice, though there were so many fences, barriers, and port-a-potties on the mall it kind of took from the mood.
we dragged ourselves through the soupy humidity to the wonderful air conditioning of the american history museum. i always enjoy museums. i got to see a couple of the painted pandas. the one i took a picture with seemed a little happy to see me. after that, we all needed showers and some rest before we met up for dinner.
we will see them tomorrow, then they are continuing on their road trip. india will be sad – she has a crush on one of danny’s cousins!
