tired…
so my “weekend” is over just as danny’s is beginning. oh well. i work the next 6 days. the hardest part will be doing the 2pm – 11pm sunday shift, then opening at 6am on monday. oof. sleep is for the weak! or something…
so, danny took me out to dinner since we don’t get to hang out much this week. afterwards, he bought me books. mm, books. one of them is the best book ever. i think the following scan of chapter 10 says it all…
i have a boyfriend at work named charlie. he is an australian shepard. (his little brother jackson is my boyfriend too…) his birthday is wednesday and his mommy told me i had to be there because she is bringing in a doggie cake (she knows about our relationship – and she actually boasts about it to her friends). i had gotten jackson a toy and a card for his birthday a week ago. charlie isn’t big on toys (at least not during daycare) so i decided to draw his portrait and give him some treaties. here is how it came out:
it is a crappy scan… i didn’t dust off the glass and the bottom left didn’t show up, but you get the idea. i hope she likes it (and doesn’t think i am a crazy dog stalker!)
while i am already talking about work and dogs, a coworker rescued two akita/boarder collie puppies from pennsylvania last week and is looking for good homes for them. they are adorable. the male is the one with more black on his ears. let me know if you are interested in rescuing one or both of these babies.
i finished the baby blanket i was working on during our vacation. it is for our online friends vaewyn and his wife. they picked out the colors purple and green.i like how it turned out. the yarn is already super soft, and it will get softer and fluffier with use.
that is all, i am going to go read in a bubble bath, then watch tv till i fall asleep.
