okay…
today i worked from 8am – 3pm. i brought india along with me. she stayed with the smaller dogs in the lounge the whole day (the two of us working the rooms switch halfway through) – partly because she gets too overwhelmed by the active dogs and partly because i want her to be able to handle being apart from me a little better.
there was going to be construction in the gym where the active dogs normally play, so i took them outside instead. it was in the upper 70°s already at 10am. the trees outside the building had suddenly bloomed pink flowers. the dogs were very humpy so i played fetch with them to keep them distracted.
just before noon we switched and i went into the lounge where india was. she scratched up my arm because she was so happy to see me. it was getting very hot in there by naptime (2pm) since the ac hadn’t been turned on. dia wanted to play now that she was more relaxed with me in the room, but the other puppies were hot and pooped (since sunday is all boarding dogs they tend to be more tired from playing so much).

india followed me around while i cleaned up till 3pm. she is very well-behaved there. i decided to try giving her a bath in our tubs there and she was an angel. so now she is a sweet-smelling and clean. i will give her another bath a week before vacation. i need to give china a bath and a haircut, but that takes so long i need to do it at home.
i need to get to bed because i wake up at 5:00am ish tomorrow for work.
