sleepy…
so, yeah… lots of posts. sorry about that. but i hadn’t posted in a while (except for all the posts i dictate in my head throughout the day and never seem to get down in writing) so it was time for a mini core-dump. i figured i might as well split it up into different topics so you can pick and choose what you want to read.
fridays are my day of rest and date night with danny. i try to make up for my lack of sleep all week by doing very little. i only got 7 hours of sleep though… i’d have rather gotten much more, but oh well.
i stayed in bed reading for a while after waking up. i am on the final pages of the girl with the pearl earring. i recently read forever amber and i danny bought me the da vinci code. any suggestions of books i could buy for my vacation?
i was showered but not dressed by 4:30pm (since i worked late the night before and got to sleep even later) and danny didn’t get up until evening (since he works nights). we got dressed at 8pm and he took me out to dinner and a movie. dinner was at the cheesecake factory. i had raspberry-lemonade, a salad with avacado slices and spicy peanut dressing (normally a chicken salad, but i had them nix the meat and cheese and add the avacado). danny got cheesecake for dessert, and i decided not to upset my belly before a movie with all that dairy, and got an apple crip minus the ice cream. it was all very yummy.
we went to the 12:30am showing of “kill bill v.2”. i liked it a lot. it wasn’t as “pretty” as the first one, but it explained a lot and will be great for movie marathon nights when they are both out on dvd. the movie theater was really hot – my bottled of water was too warm to drink a third of the way into the movie. i decided to try raisonettes for the first time. they are good in theory, but the “chocolate” coating tasted like chemicals.
now i really need to head up to bed. i want to go to eyeglass places and see about getting new prescription sunglasses, as mine have been broken for a couple of years. i am tired of being forced to wear contacts on vacation simply in order to wear sunglasses. and i will be outside with the dogs a lot more when the weather stays heating up, so i’ll need them. also tomorrow, danny’s work is doing some bar-b-que slash car detailing thing in the afternoon. if time allows i really need gorceries for my lunches next week. but saturdays always go so fast for me – especially since danny keeps me up so late! but i don’t care because i miss him so much during the week!
