I am laying in bed. I have a cold. I am wearing my retainer, so I might sound a little funny.
I haven’t had enough time to post anything lately. I’m so tired and busy. I work, a lot. Hehe. I guess it’s like everyone else but, it’s so early in the morning that it makes me really tired and it’s hard to get enough sleep. I come home and then I do all my freelance work, I try to spend time with Danny, and before I know it, I am having dinner at 10 PM, I’ve got to be up at 5 AM and I always need an hour or two in bed to unwind before I can fall asleep. So, I’ve been getting about three hours of sleep a night.
It’s probably not been helping my cold. I’m having [to ____ ] with this damn thing since before Thanksgiving. I’m feeling a lot better now, just, mostly coughing. Trying very hard not to cough in your ear right now.
Not much is happening. I work through Christmas Eve. ::cough::cough:: Excuse me. Then I have Christmas Day off. . . the only holiday I have off of these two months, November December. Well, I guess January because I work New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day. But, because my weekends are usually Friday-Saturday, I have Thursday-Friday-Saturday so, I’m very much looking forward to a three-day weekend! So a lot of it will be spent trying to get major work done on a new version of our website for the dog spa, which we want to put up live at the beginning of January. So, busy busy with that. ::clears throat::
I don’t know when I’ll spend time with my family. We usually do a, well, post-Christmas dinner, usually in early January. So, I’ve got to finish their Christmas presents. Hehe. I’m hand making them stuff and it’s taking a while and I don’t have a while. But, I’m doing it when ever I can find a few moments free.
Work has been going good. I love being around all the dogs, which is really nice. And our clients are so wonderful! All the regulars, their parents have been coming in with huge tins of popcorn and cookies and candies and saying that they’re from the dogs! It’s really cute. ::cough:: Excuse me.
One dog, Maggie, her mommy brought in boxes of Godiva chocolates for each employee like, ten piece boxes too, they were big! And today I got a card from one of the dogs named Jackson and it had a Christmas scratch-off lottery ticket and [ ___ __ ___ ]! It was really sweet!
I don’t know what else to say. My life has pretty much been: go to work, come home do some work, spend time with Danny, try to sleep but fail. Hehe. It looks like it’s going to be like that pretty much indefinitely. Because, even once I finish. . . [ recording ends abruptly ]
