festive…
work went fine today… sundays are always pretty easy. the usual manager is in london, so one of the girls who has just started manager duties filled in. the girl who was supposed to split the dogs with me had a family emergency. good thing we only had 12 dogs. we kept the one small one up at the front desk with the manager and i had the rest in the lounge for 6 hours. i didn’t have any cuddle sofa dogs… all humpy in-your-face ones. ah well. i clipped coupons and finished a scarf.
danny and i are both working way too much to make a big deal out of christmas this year. but i did want at least some decorations. i bought a little 2′ tall tree on sale at the craft store and decorated that instead of our 4″ fake tree. i put a green garland and wreath out on the bars that run across the french doors and xmas lights on the doors themselves… pretties! china tried to help but she kept getting distracted.
oh, and notice how we only have 2 holiday cards? (one is from our friend 
b_r0ck and the other is from direct tv.) i plan to hang them all as i get them. if you would like my post office box address, it is:
