well another week gone by. today is my ‘sunday’ since i go back to work tomorrow. though i will be working 6 days straight in order to have 4 days off for our mini vacation to las vegas next weekend.
i didn’t get to leave the house much this weekend because it was snowing for most of it. we did venture out to the grocery store between storms. i think we ended up with about 6″-8″ of snow total. danny has already shoveled the driveway and behind my car (they like to plow me in). i just need to clean the snow off of the car itself then move it to the garage so it isn’t re-frozen when i get up at 6 am. i may just move it to the driveway soon since danny doesn’t leave for work until 10:30 pm and i’d like to but upstairs in pj’s, braiding some more braids and brushing my teeth for bed by then.
last night i upgraded to mac os 10.3 since it had been sitting on my desk for a month. i quickly discovered that neither of my video cards are supported (even though one came with the mac) so much time was spent getting my computer back to the way it was so it could fully function again. rather frustrating. there was a work-around for one of the cards but it turned off all the good features of the card. the other one would only display in black and white. so, yeah. i am on 10.2.8 for now.
thursday after work i stopped by my p.o. box and found the lovely surprise of a gift from my friend 
gikiski. he sent me a beautiful box of watercolor pencils. i can’t wait to sit down and play with them, but i am pretty busy for the rest of the month. i really need more hour in the day. that, or the ability to never need sleep.
