exhausted…
oof, i am super tired. i just got home from work and i am trying to keep my eyes open. the house smells yummy because danny is in the kitchen cooking us special thanksgiving-like foods. no tofurky though. tomorrow is normally the start of my ‘weekend’ but i work again and just have saturday off. i had to park in delaware because all the non-working bitches are hogging all the spots. i somehow managed to parallel park. bleh i am filthy. hopefully a shower will wake me up.
so the there were 60 dogs there today. the three of us working the day shift showed up around normal weekday time (6:45am) instead of the 7am they had scheduled. there were a lot of breakfasts to prepare. we just each grabbed a sheet from the list and started filling bowls and labeling them. we had to wheel them around on a cart to all the dogs.
we ended up dividing them between the big gym and the lounge, depending on the dog’s size and activity level. we each took turns on 1 hour shifts in the lounge with the 2 others in the gym. we didn’t put them down for a nap since it would have taken too long. they were getting nice and tired by the time the evening folks showed up at 3pm.
tired tired tired. can’t wait for vacation! i’llbe missing the company holiday party though. but i’ll have 4 days with danny and two of them will be full days in las vegas!
