tired…
so to catch up…
the past few days were pretty regular. danny had to work through saturday night. i did site work (most behind-the-scenes), a bit of freelance, and a lot of braiding (only 1/3 left to redo in the next 3 days). on saturday night i baked brownies and delivered them and mcdonald’s french fries to danny around 2am. well, they accidently gave me two double-cheeseburgers as well so he had to pawn those off on coworkers. i didn’t hang around because they were having a crisis at work.
today we had a date night of sorts, i guess. it was nice. we started out going to the local pool hall for the free pool they have on weekend evenings. i lost all our games, of course. but i did will our game of darts.
afterwards we drove over to reston town center and bought tickets for “pirates of the carribean”. dam, non-matinees are pricey now. we had a couple hours to waste, so we walked around, ate some dinner, had ice cream cones, and waited out front for a bit. i think at least 5 people asked me who did my hair throughout our evening out. others just talked about it right behind me, heh.
i enjoyed the movie. mmm johnny depp in eyeliner and dreads… the effects were nice and they managed to keep my attention for all 2.5 hours – no small feat. we stayed till after the credits since we had heard there was more to see. i am now going to have monkey nightmares. seriously.
